The Texas Viking Festival 2026

12 December - 13 December
The Texas Viking Festival 2026

The Texas Viking Festival takes place at Valkyrie Ranch in Paige, Texas, on December 12–13 and 19–20, 2026. The two-weekend gathering combines Norse-inspired music, combat demonstrations, artisan shopping, camping, and a Yule celebration.

The venue is located at 2030 FM 2104, Paige, TX 78659. Public festival hours are 10:00 AM–9:00 PM on each of the four opening days.

⚔️ Activities and Entertainment

The festival’s activities include live music, magicians, dancers, games, trade demonstrations, living encampments, and vendors selling handmade goods. Combat and sporting entertainment includes armored fighting, mounted archery, combat demonstrations, archery competitions, and Highland Games.

Additional attractions include Krampus appearances, horseback rides, beard contests, and horn-blowing competitions. Food vendors serve a range of dishes, with mead and cider from Thorin’s Mead also available.

Norse-Inspired Music

The music lineup features Norðenfölk, Tordenkor, and Skuggaheimr. Norðenfölk grew out of the festival’s Skaldic All Thing competition, while Dallas-based Skuggaheimr makes its Texas Viking Festival debut.
