Faire of Champions 2027

Faire of Champions returns to Palestine, Texas, on Saturdays and Sundays from January 2 through January 31, 2027. This winter fantasy faire combines interactive quests, costumed characters, shopping, entertainment, and camping across five themed weekends.

The grounds are located at 4033 AN County Rd 2212, Palestine, TX 75803. Visitors can follow adventures through the realm, interact with its characters, and develop their own stories.

📅 Themed Weekends

• January 2–3 — Goth Galore: Gothic fashion, mysterious characters, and darker fantasy adventures.
• January 9–10 — High Seas Adventure: a pirate-themed weekend with maritime stories, sea shanties, and treasure-seeking adventures.
• January 16–17 — Lovecraftian Lore: cosmic mysteries, strange creatures, and theatrical fantasy inspired by Lovecraftian storytelling.
• January 23–24 — Viking Invasion: Viking-inspired clothing, music, fellowship, and an after-hours bonfire.
• January 30–31 — Unicorns and Dragons: a closing weekend centered on mythical creatures and fantasy characters.

• Saturdays: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.
• Sundays: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.

The faire opens on January 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31.

Quests at Adventurers Hearth

Adventurers Hearth is the starting point for the faire’s interactive adventures. The Traveler’s Quest sends visitors through the marketplace to solve rhyming clues and locate participating vendors. Completing the quest provides a magical coin that can influence the unscripted sword fights of House Mobius.

Overnight campers can take part in The Hunt, a photographic search for objects, artifacts, and characters around the grounds. A separate campaign begins with The Whispers, introducing participants to a mystery involving the faire’s tower.

🎟 Tickets and Passes

Adult tickets apply to ages 13 and older, while child tickets cover ages 6–12. Children ages 0–5 enter free.

• Adult and Child Daily Tickets: admission for one Saturday or Sunday.
• Adult and Child Weekend Tickets: admission for one Saturday and Sunday.
• Adult and Child Faire Passes: fairground admission for all five weekends.
• Adult and Child Camping Tickets: one weekend of campground access, Friday through Monday.
• Adult Camping RV Ticket: one weekend of campground access for one RV and one adult.
• Champion’s Pass: adult fairground and campground access for all five weekends, including permission to leave a campsite set up throughout the season.
• Champion’s Pass RV: the corresponding adult season option for RV camping.
• Squire’s Pass: child fairground and campground access for all five weekends.

Standard faire tickets exclude camping, and camping-only tickets exclude fairground admission. Military personnel and first responders receive a 10% discount on faire tickets at the ticket booth with identification.

Black Flag Feast

The Black Flag Feast takes place on January 9, 2027, at Cedar Hill. This separately ticketed event is restricted to ages 18 and older, with limited availability and nonrefundable tickets.

Camping at Woodcock Woodlands

During the season, the campground opens Fridays at noon and closes Mondays at noon. Tent and RV camping are available in a rustic setting.

Campers must bring their own water. Portable toilets are provided, but there are no RV water or electrical hookups, filling stations, or dumping facilities.

Only service animals may enter the fairgrounds. Other pets must remain in the campground and comply with its rules.
