Central Coast Renaissance Festival 2026 will take place on July 18 and 19, at Laguna Lake Park in San Luis Obispo, California. Presented as the 40th Annual Central Coast Renaissance Festival, the event recreates an Elizabethan Renaissance village with Queen Elizabeth I’s court, live armored combat, Renaissance music, street theater, artisan vendors, food, games, falconry demonstrations and family activities.

🏰 An Elizabethan Village at Laguna Lake Park
The 40th Annual Central Coast Renaissance Festival invites visitors to step into the atmosphere of the Elizabethan Renaissance. Throughout the festival village, guests can encounter Queen Elizabeth I’s court, costumed characters, live entertainment, artisan merchants, food vendors and interactive activities for all ages.
The event combines courtly pageantry, live combat, music, improvisational theater, games and themed entertainment in a shaded lakeside setting. The festival village is placed toward the back of Laguna Lake Park in an area known as the Enchanted Forest.
Costumes are welcome but not required, so visitors may attend in Renaissance-style clothing or regular modern dress.
