Medieval Fae Fest 2026

Medieval Fae Fest takes place on November 13–15, 2026, at the Jackson County Agricultural Center in Marianna, Florida. The three-day festival combines medieval demonstrations, fairy folklore, costumed characters, artisan shopping, performances, games, and workshops.

Visitors can attend in costume or everyday clothing, with activities bringing together historical interests and fantasy themes. An earlier edition took place at the same agricultural center in November 2025.

Entertainment and Medieval Demonstrations

The announced lineup includes dance, storytelling, animal presentations, costumed encounters, and medieval demonstrations:

• Forgotten Coast Dancing Witches: dance performances by a group that supports local animal shelters.
• The Parvanas – Dancers of Veil & Steel: performances combining belly dance and Scottish sword dance.
• Jatin Patel – “The Redneck Raja”: educational presentations featuring animals.
• The Curses of Dark Corner: pirate storytelling, songs, and comedy inspired by Treasure Island.
• Agape Ballet & Performing Arts: dance performances.
• Costumers With A Cause: character appearances and cosplay interactions.
• Shire of Emerald Gate: armored combat demonstrations and period crafts.
• What the Faie: encounters with Queen Aurelia, storytelling, and fairy-themed interactions.

Games and Activities

Festival activities include a cosplay contest, archery, axe throwing, arm wrestling, tug of war, mock jousting, and a scavenger hunt. The mock jousting activity offers a playful introduction for children and other visitors.

The marketplace features handcrafted goods, costumes, fantasy accessories, and food vendors.

Workshops

The following workshops are listed for Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15:

• 1:00 PM — Flower Crown Workshop: a one-hour session with Sparkleheart from the Fairy Queen’s court. Materials are included. $15.
• 2:30 PM — Belly Dance Workshop: a 30-minute beginner session with Jessica Shirvan of The Parvanas, open to all ages. $10 per person.
• 3:00 PM — Fairy Spell Pouch Workshop: a 30-minute fantasy craft session with Sparkleheart using crystals, herbs, and small decorative items. $15.
