Spring Haven Renaissance Festival 2026 takes place on November 14–15, 2026, at Spring Haven Farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The fall edition combines live entertainment, combat demonstrations, an artisan marketplace, and encounters with the animals that live on this working farm.

Entertainment and Activities

Combat demonstrations, musicians, and costumed characters bring the festival grounds to life. Visitors can watch fighters in action, try axe throwing and archery, and enjoy interactive entertainment throughout the day.

Artisan Marketplace and Festival Food

More than 50 vendors gather throughout the farm. The marketplace includes handcrafted goods, costumes, jewelry, gifts, and artisan products from makers across North Carolina and the Triangle.

Food offerings include smoked turkey legs and other festival fare, with ale and mead also available. Renaissance costumes are welcome during the daytime festival, but visitors may attend in everyday clothing.

A Renaissance Festival on a Working Farm

Animal encounters are a distinctive part of Spring Haven’s festival. Visitors can meet and feed farm animals, spend time with the baby goats, and explore the outdoor setting between performances and shopping.

The first Spring Haven Renaissance Festival took place in fall 2025, followed by a second edition in spring 2026. The November event is therefore the festival’s third edition, continuing a tradition developed by the family-owned farm.

RenFest After Party and Camping

A separate RenFest After Party for ages 21 and older begins at 8 PM on Saturday, November 14, with check-in opening at 6 PM. Renaissance-inspired costumes are required for this evening event.

The party includes live music, dancing, tavern games, campfires, and a late-night movie. The Great Revelry Challenge runs until 10 AM Sunday, with participants collecting game coins to compete for prizes of $500, $250, and $100.

The package includes Sunday festival admission, preferred parking, one alcoholic drink ticket, pub snacks, 25 game coins, and a reserved campsite. Saturday daytime festival admission is separate.

Camping spaces must be reserved at least seven days in advance after purchasing an after-party ticket. Guests with Saturday festival admission may set up during the day; after-party-only guests may set up after 6 PM. Camping equipment must be removed by 8 PM Sunday.
