Address: 571 Ridge Rd, Helen, Georgia.
Uhuburg is a modern castle inspired by Renaissance architecture. Construction began in 2008, and it opened to the public in May 2023. Its features include twelve towers, three gatehouses, an eight-story lookout tower, and courtyard gardens.
The name combines the German words Uhu, meaning eagle owl, and Burg, meaning castle. Its design draws on European castle architecture while incorporating the landscape and character of the southern Appalachians.
