Delaware Renaissance Faire 2025

The Delaware Renaissance Faire 2025, also known as Delafaire, returns this fall to Fire Base Lloyd in Townsend, Delaware, for three enchanting weekends of medieval fantasy and family fun. From October 25th through November 9th, guests can travel back in time every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with gates closing at 4:30 p.m.), rain or shine.
This will be Delafaire’s third season, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest and most imaginative yet — with new entertainment, themed weekends, and an expanded layout designed to bring even more magic to the First State.
⚔️ A Festival That Brings History and Fantasy to Life
At Delaware Renaissance Faire 2025, visitors can wander through a living medieval village filled with colorful characters, live performances, and interactive games. The fairgrounds come alive with jugglers, jesters, archers, and knights, while multiple performance stages host professional acts throughout the day.
The artisan marketplace overflows with handmade goods — costumes, jewelry, leatherwork, and medieval crafts — perfect for collectors and cosplay fans alike. Hungry travelers can feast on hearty food from local vendors, while the pub area, featuring Brimming Horn Meadery and Bear Cult Brewing Co., keeps spirits high with delicious meads and craft brews.
🎭 Themed Weekends & Costume Contests
Each weekend at Delafaire 2025 offers a brand-new adventure:
- 👻 Halloweekend (Oct. 25–26): Spooky fun for all ages, from eerie entertainment to costume contests that celebrate the season.
- 🧚 Fantasy Weekend (Nov. 1–2): Enter a world of faeries, wizards, and mythical creatures — imagination required!
- ⚔️ Heroes vs. Villains (Nov. 8–9): The grand finale weekend, where good and evil clash in an epic battle of costumes and creativity.
Every themed weekend includes costume contests with prizes for both kids and adults, so come dressed to impress!
🍻 Eat, Drink & Support a Good Cause
Festivalgoers can enjoy locally sourced food, sweet treats, and the signature brews of Brimming Horn Meadery, the festival’s long-standing pub partner. A portion of proceeds benefits the Choose Joy Foundation, a Delaware-based nonprofit supporting local causes — proving that merriment and charity can go hand in hand.
