Delaware Renaissance Faire 2026

The Delaware Renaissance Faire 2026, also known as DelaFaire, returns to Firebase Lloyd in Townsend, Delaware, for three weekends from October 31 through November 15, 2026. Celebrating its fifth season, the fair features five entertainment stages, an artisan marketplace, interactive combat activities, food vendors, and a locally sourced pub. Each weekend has its own theme, beginning with Halloween and continuing with Celtic and fantasy celebrations.

The event takes place in southern New Castle County and is part of the calendar of Renaissance and medieval festivals in Delaware.

The faire operates on three consecutive weekends, with six opening days in total. It is not open on weekdays between the scheduled weekends.

🎭 Themed Weekends 2026

The fifth season features three themed weekends, with opportunities to dress up and participate in the festivities.

1. Halloween Weekend — October 31–November 1

The opening weekend coincides with Halloween, bringing a seasonal theme to the Renaissance village.

Visitors can celebrate the holiday in costume while enjoying the fair’s entertainment, merchants, and activities.

2. Celtic Weekend — November 7–8

The second weekend celebrates Celtic culture and traditions as part of the fair’s Renaissance-inspired setting.

3. Fantasy Weekend — November 14–15

The final weekend is dedicated to fantasy, providing an opportunity for visitors to attend in imaginative costumes inspired by magical worlds and fictional characters.

⚔️ Entertainment and Activities

The Delaware Renaissance Faire offers professional entertainment across five stages, with a combination of music, comedy, interactive performances, and costumed characters.

Visitors can explore the village, meet its characters, watch stage entertainment, and participate in activities throughout the grounds.

The Proving Grounds

The Proving Grounds provides opportunities to test a range of skills through interactive activities:

• Archery.
• Axe throwing.
• Spear and lance throwing.
• Dagger tossing.
• Fight the Knight, a one-on-one combat activity.

These activities offer visitors opportunities to participate beyond the regular stage entertainment.

Artisan Demonstrations and Interactive Experiences

The 2026 vendor lineup includes Bucky the Blacksmith, giving visitors an opportunity to discover traditional metalworking.

Adventures From the Wizard’s Tower is also confirmed for all three weekends, bringing a role-playing experience to the fair.

Other confirmed vendors offer henna, handmade goods, specialty products, and fantasy-inspired merchandise.

🛍️ Artisan Marketplace

The faire features dozens of vendors selling handcrafted products, accessories, artwork, and other merchandise. The 2026 marketplace includes a combination of merchants attending the entire season and others appearing on selected weekends.

Food and beverage vendors will be available throughout the fair, along with a pub featuring locally sourced offerings.

🎟 Tickets and Admission Prices 2026

Tickets are available online for the 2026 Delaware Renaissance Faire. Single-day tickets are date-specific, while season passes provide admission throughout the fair’s six opening days.

Single-Day Admission

• Adult admission, ages 16 and older: $25.
• VIP Adult admission: $40.
• Youth admission, ages 5–15: $10.
• Children under 5: Free.
• Special Admission for military veterans, active-duty personnel, and visitors aged 65 and older: $20.

Season Passes

• Season Pass: $75.
• VIP Season Pass: $90.

Season passes are valid for every scheduled day of the 2026 fair, including days when regular admission has sold out.

VIP Admission

VIP admission includes access to the VIP entrance line and a selection of exclusive merchandise:

• VIP pin.
• DelaFaire lanyard.
• Two stickers.
• One additional DelaFaire merchandise item.
• One activity card.

The activity card is valid for one of the following options:

• One pickle at the Pickle Booth.
• One snow cone at the DaVinci Contraption.
• One round of archery, axe throwing, or lance tossing at the Proving Grounds.

Ticket Conditions

Tickets may be available at the gate unless admission has sold out online. Advance purchase is recommended.

Visitors may leave and reenter the fair on the same day with a hand stamp issued at the entrance.

Tickets are nonrefundable in the event of rain.

Parking: Free onsite parking is available for visitors.

Parking is located in a field on the farm property. The surface may be uneven, muddy, or bumpy, particularly after rain.

The fairgrounds are predominantly grassy, with some uneven and unpaved pathways. The venue is partially accessible to wheelchair users.

Designated accessible parking and some wheelchair-accessible portable toilets are available.

Visitor Policies

• Costumes are welcome but not required.
• Costume weapons must be secured and peace-tied.
• Firearms, including replicas, are prohibited.
• Pets are not permitted, except trained service dogs.
• Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the venue.
• Strollers are permitted but are not available to rent.
• Visitors should bring both cash and a credit card, as payment options vary between vendors.
