Kearney Park Renaissance Faire 2026

Kearney Park Renaissance Faire returns to Fresno, California, on November 14–15, 2026. Organized by Two Fayre Ladies, the event brings Renaissance-themed entertainment, jousting, costumed reenactors, and a marketplace to Kearney Park.

Jousting, Stage Shows, and the Marketplace

The faire combines jousting, battle reenactments, a weapons tournament, games, and axe throwing. Two entertainment stages host performances, while craft merchants and food vendors provide places to browse and eat between demonstrations.

Another advertised attraction is a 20-foot trebuchet launching pumpkins. The seasonal setting draws on Tudor England and the approach of Yule, bringing historical themes together with theatrical entertainment.

A Faire in a Historic Fresno Park

Kearney Park occupies part of the former Fruit Vale Estate, developed by agricultural entrepreneur M. Theo Kearney during the late 19th century. Surviving estate buildings include Kearney Mansion, the servants’ quarters, carriage house, and ice house.

The estate’s history belongs to California’s agricultural development, while the faire recreates an earlier European period. This distinction gives the event a historical setting of its own without confusing the park’s origins with its Renaissance theme.

The faire operates rain or shine. As an outdoor park event, it includes grassy and uneven surfaces, so comfortable footwear is useful when moving between the market, stages, and demonstration areas.
