Medieval Fae Fest 2026

Medieval Fae Fest takes place on November 13–15, 2026, at the Jackson County Agricultural Center in Marianna, Florida. The three-day festival combines medieval demonstrations, fairy folklore, live performances, hands-on workshops, and an artisan marketplace.

Visitors can explore the festival in costume or everyday clothing, with activities ranging from armored combat demonstrations and pirate entertainment to crafts and a cosplay contest.

Live Performances and Medieval Demonstrations

The entertainment includes pirates, belly dancers, birds of prey, armored combat demonstrations, and a Shakespeare play. Costumed characters and fairy encounters add interactive experiences throughout the grounds.

• The Parvanas – Dancers of Veil & Steel: Belly dance and Scottish sword dance.
• Jatin Patel – “The Redneck Raja”: Educational animal presentations.
• The Curses of Dark Corner: Pirate stories, songs, and comedy.
• Agape Ballet & Performing Arts: Dance performances.
• Costumers With A Cause: Character appearances and cosplay encounters.
• Shire of Emerald Gate: Armored combat demonstrations and historical crafts.
• What the Faie: Fairy-themed interactions and storytelling with Queen Aurelia.

Hands-On Workshops

Visitors can make a flower crown, create a fairy spell pouch, or try a beginner belly dance session. The following workshops run on Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15:

• 1:00 PM — Flower Crown Workshop: One-hour session. $15.
• 2:30 PM — Belly Dance Workshop: Thirty-minute session. $10.
• 3:00 PM — Fairy Spell Pouch Workshop: Thirty-minute session. $15.

Games, Costumes, and the Medieval Market

The festival includes a cosplay contest, axe throwing, arm wrestling, tug of war, a scavenger hunt, and mock jousting for children and other visitors. The medieval market and artisan vendors offer opportunities to browse between performances and workshops.
