Texas Renaissance Festival 2025
The Texas Renaissance Festival 2025 (TRF) returns this fall to Todd Mission, Texas, celebrating its 51st season of history, fantasy, and adventure. From October 11th through November 30th, every Saturday and Sunday, plus Thanksgiving Friday, thousands will once again pass through the Royal Gates into a world where knights, queens, jesters, and adventurers roam freely. Festival hours run from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with no entry after 7:00 p.m.
⚔️ The Nation’s Largest Renaissance Festival
First launched in 1974 on a modest 15-acre site, the Texas Renaissance Festival has since evolved into an immersive wonderland spanning nearly 60 acres. Each season, more than half a million visitors flock to experience its eight themed villages, 400 artisan shoppes, and over 60 entertainment acts across 25+ stages.
From jugglers and minstrels to fortune tellers, costumed villagers, and musical performances, every corner of the New Market Village is alive with the spirit of the 16th century. It’s more than a festival — it’s a living storybook brought to life.
🎭 Entertainment, Artisans & Themed Weekends
Throughout the festival, guests can enjoy continuous shows, from Shakespearean plays to comedic skits, acrobatics, and live music. Each weekend features a unique theme — favorites like Oktoberfest, Pirate Adventure, All Hallows’ Eve, and Celtic Christmas transport visitors into entirely new worlds with corresponding décor, costumes, and contests.
Artisans from around the world showcase their handcrafted creations — pottery, metalwork, jewelry, and woodcarvings — while festival-goers can savor culinary delights ranging from roasted turkey legs and mead to new treats debuting in 2025, such as Dubai-style chocolate and specialty meads.

The 2025 season brings exciting updates to enhance your Renaissance experience:
- New character: Meet “Buzz,” a ventriloquist act by performer Philnick the Great.
- Culinary upgrades: Specialty international desserts and new themed food booths.
- Luxury glamping huts: Stay on-site in style with new Arched Cabins LLC glamping accommodations — a perfect upgrade for festival campers.
🌳 A Fairground Fit for Royalty
Covering more than 55 acres, the festival grounds recreate a 16th-century English village, complete with winding lanes, courtly gardens, and period architecture — turrets, thatched roofs, and timber-framed shoppes. Hundreds of trees and native plants surround the grounds, giving visitors the sense of stepping into a true old-world paradise.
🌆 Discover Todd Mission, Texas
Located about 50 miles northwest of Houston, Todd Mission is a small town that comes alive each autumn thanks to TRF. Home to fewer than 150 residents year-round, the area transforms during the festival season, welcoming travelers from across Texas and beyond. Visitors can reach it easily via Highway 249 or FM 1774, and nearby towns like Magnolia and Plantersville offer convenient lodging and dining options.
