Viking Weekend — Call of the Storm
July 18–19, 2026
The opening weekend celebrates ancient lore, lineage and Norse-inspired tradition. Guests are encouraged to wear leather, braid their hair and join the Viking gathering, while also honoring the stories and customs of their own ancestry.
With horns, rallying cries and the spirit of the old ways, Viking Weekend brings a storm-filled summer celebration to Merriwick.
Feast of Fools Weekend — Merrymaker’s Masquerade
July 25–26, 2026
Mischief, masks and courtly silliness take over the village during Feast of Fools Weekend. Her Majesty has embraced the antics of the jesters and ordered a celebration filled with ceremony, spectacle and playful chaos.
Visitors are invited to wear bright attire, painted faces, harlequin details, striped socks, bells and fool-like finery for a weekend of revelry and tomfoolery.
Dark Fantasy Weekend — Twisted Fairytales
August 1–2, 2026
As the mood shifts toward the magical and mysterious, Dark Fantasy Weekend transforms Merriwick into a realm of shadowed tales. Witches, vampires, goblins, satyrs, Unseelie fairies and other creatures of the under-realms step into the summer revels.
Guests can embrace claws, horns, pointed teeth and darker fantasy costumes for a weekend inspired by nightfall, magic and twisted stories.
Pirate Weekend — Treasure and Trouble on the High Seas
August 8–9, 2026
Pirates arrive in Merriwick after word of the Midsummer revels reaches the sea. The weekend brings sea rovers, songs, gambling, bold fashion and the question of how Her Majesty will respond to this invasion of rogues.
Visitors can dress in flouncy shirts, grand coats, feathered hats, golden earrings and pirate finery for a weekend of nautical trouble and celebration.
Fae & Fables Weekend — The Wydlewood Dream
August 15–16, 2026
The final weekend welcomes the Wyldwood Fae, led by Queen Glorianna, into the village. Satyrs, mushroom-kin, elves, unicorns, sprites and other enchanted beings bring magic to the closing days of the faire.
Guests are invited to wear wings, sparkle, faerie attire or other fantasy-inspired costumes and step into the faerie realm for the final summer celebration.
