OKC Renaissance and Scottish Festival 2026

The OKC Renaissance and Scottish Festival celebrates its fifth annual fall edition on November 7–8, 2026, at OKC Fair Park in Oklahoma City. The outdoor festival combines Renaissance entertainment with Scottish heritage, bringing together jousting, falconry, music, costumed characters, and the OKC Highland Games.

Renaissance Entertainment and Scottish Heritage

Visitors can watch jousting and armored combat, encounter pirates and Vikings, and enjoy performances featuring musicians, magicians, dancers, and fire breathers. Falconry and food, including turkey legs, are also among the announced attractions.

The festival’s organizing team previously produced the Great Plains Renaissance Festival in Wichita, Kansas. That experience helped shape an Oklahoma City event combining Renaissance-themed entertainment with Scottish athletic traditions.

OKC Highland Games

The 2026 Oklahoma City Highland Games take place within the festival and feature the IHGF National Championship and Junior World Championship.

The athletic program includes nine disciplines:

• Braemar stone.
• Open stone.
• Heavy weight for distance.
• Light weight for distance.
• Light hammer.
• Heavy hammer.
• Caber toss.
• Weight for height.
• Sheaf toss.

The sheaf toss does not count toward the championship, and junior competitors do not participate in that discipline. Athlete registration costs $50 for adults and juniors, with an October 25, 2026 registration deadline.

• Sunday, November 8: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Tickets and Admission

• Adult one-day advance ticket, ages 13 and older: $13, including one free child’s ticket.
• Adult advance weekend pass: $28.
• Adult admission at the gate: $17.
• Additional child’s advance ticket: $5.
• Child admission at the gate: $6.
• Children ages 2 and younger: Free.

One child age 12 or younger receives free admission with each qualifying adult advance ticket. Tickets are available through the official festival ticket page.

Location and Access

The festival takes place outdoors at OKC Fair Park, 3001 General Pershing Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK 73107. The event area lies between Gates 1 and 2, near the northeast corner of the grounds, with access from NW 10th Street or May Avenue.
